The South Strip runs from Park MGM and New York-New York down past Excalibur and Luxor to Mandalay Bay. T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium are here, the pools are the biggest in town, and the airport is a short ride.

Why stay here

A free tram links Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur, and the Park MGM–New York-New York corner puts you a short walk from T-Mobile Arena.

Who it's for: Concert and game-goers, pool people, and anyone who wants a quick airport transfer.

Pros

  • Walk to T-Mobile Arena; Allegiant Stadium is close
  • Mandalay Bay’s beach and wave pool
  • Closest Strip base to the airport

Cons

  • Farther from the fountains and the Center Strip
  • Mostly huge resorts, little street life
  • Event nights get crowded
