48-hour destination guide
48 Hours in Toronto: A Neighborhood Itinerary
Pick your Toronto — the CN Tower blocks, Old Town, the waterfront, Yorkville, Queen West or the East End — and settle in.

Toronto spreads north from Lake Ontario. Union Station, the CN Tower and the Entertainment District sit near the lake, with Old Town and St. Lawrence Market to the east and Harbourfront and the Island ferries on the shore. Yonge Street runs north past the Eaton Centre to Yorkville and the Annex, Queen Street West and Kensington Market are west of downtown, and Riverside and Leslieville are across the Don River. The TTC subway and streetcars link most of it. Niagara Falls is about 90 minutes away by car. Confirm hours before you go; we do not invent them here.
