Singapore is compact and easy: the MRT links every neighborhood here. Marina Bay and the Civic District hold the skyline and the museums; Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Little India are the historic quarters, each with its own temples and hawker food. Orchard Road is for shopping, the Singapore River quays for evenings out, Katong for Peranakan shophouses and Sentosa for beaches and theme parks. It’s hot and humid year-round with sudden showers; plan indoor breaks. Confirm hours before you go.
