Neighborhood 48H guide
Chinatown: Where to Stay & What to Do in 48 Hours
Dragon Gate, Grant Avenue lanterns, and dim sum within a few dense blocks.

San Francisco's Chinatown is the densest walk in the city: Dragon Gate at Bush and Grant, Stockton Street markets, and alley temples a block apart. Sleep on the Chinatown–Financial District edge so mornings start on Grant Avenue without a cable-car queue.
