Neighborhood 48H guide
Chelsea / Meatpacking: Where to Stay & What to Do in 48 Hours
The High Line, Whitney views, and gallery afternoons between Chelsea and Gansevoort.

Chelsea and the Meatpacking District share the High Line: gallery blocks north of 14th, the Whitney at Gansevoort, and rooftop evenings over the park. It is the best west-side 48-hour base when you want contemporary art and walkable design hotels.
